Creekside Kindergarten
Welcome to Creekside Elementary! We are looking forward to the coming year. We have many fun exciting learning opportunities for this year. In order to get off to a smooth start there are certain materials we would like for each child to have.
MATERIAL LIST:
2 box of 8 large (fat) Crayola Crayons 2 rolls of paper towels
2 box of regular Crayola Crayons 10 glue sticks
2 boxes of tissues 4 Expo fat dry erase markers
1 hand towel (for rest time) labeled 1 box of gallon size storage baggies (boys)
2 Composition notebooks 1 box of quart size baggies (girls)
1 box of baby wipes 1 pencil pouch (NO boxes)
1 dozen Ticonderoga pencils
1 book bag labeled (NO wheels they tend to be hazardous)
$2-$3 for agenda (if agenda needs to be replaced the cost will be $5)
OPTIONAL: Disinfecting Wipes Playdoh
Donations to Special Area Classes For the Library - Optional
2 glue sticks Kleenex
1 box of tissues
Supplies for Home for Homework:
-pencils -glue -crayons -Fiskar scissors -old magazines
-1^st grade writing paper
A few helpful thoughts:
1. Please bring any items already purchased to our Kindergarten Open House on July 31^st from 6:00-7:30, or Kindergarten Kickoff on August 2^nd from 9:00-11:00. This is a special time for your Kindergartener. We request that you only bring your Kindergarten student(s).
2. Please label ONLY your child’s lunch box, book bag, pencil pouch, and coats.
3. Please send a note or call by 12:00 for any change in where your child gets off the bus at any time during the year.
4. Please check and sign your child’s agenda for upcoming events and important dates.
We know this will be a great year and we look forward to working with you to help your child grow and learn. Please feel free to call at school (369-8460) if you have any questions or concerns.
