Last night (Sunday, March 18th, 2012) there was a
brazen home burglary on Overland Dr. about 11pm. The intruder walked into
home through the laundry/garage door into the kitchen.
The homeowners were in the living room when their dogs started
growling, but they thought the wind had blown the door open, as THE GARAGE
DOOR WAS LEFT OPEN. The homeowner got up to check it out and confronted a
masked intruder in the kitchen. The intruder fled the home with a purse. No
one at the home was injured.
The homeowner called 911 and the Police responded with incredible
speed. They found an unlocked vehicle in garage and another unlocked vehicle in
front of house that had been accessed.
The intruder attempted to use the credit cards in Saginaw, but
the homeowners had already called the credit card companies and deactivated
The intruder is a Hispanic male and was wearing a grey hoodie
with a blue surgical mask covering his face.

garage door openers out of your cars parked in the driveway (they give easy
access to thieves).
3) Light the
outside of your home at night.
4) Get to know
your neighbors; they are your first line of defense.
5) Don’t hesitate to
call 911 to get fast help.
